Recently, my best friend received the devastating news that her youngest sister Mandy has an aggressive form of breast cancer. For a young mother of three, it’s a shocking and scary battle to face. Mandy is a healthcare professional and, even though hers grew too rapidly for early detection, she encourages regular breast exams as part of breast cancer awareness. Inspired by this simple reminder and by Mandy’s sweet and hilarious nature, her two sisters created this campaign to help her with medical expenses, keep the family’s spirits high and remind us all that we can’t forget about the girls!
